It was 1995. I had just finished revolutionizing television (no biggie), and suddenly, I stood at a crossroads: continue the rat race or take a wild leap into the unknown.

I chose the leap.

So, I stripped my life down to what could fit in a backpack and prepared to jump headfirst into the world. As I was leaving, a friend handed me something and unassuming, saying, “Keep this in your pocket. It’ll be the best gift anyone will ever give you.”

Little did I know, that tiny object would transform my entire existence, transforming my world into a Playground.

Now, I’m on a mission—preaching the Power of Play to anyone who will listen (and even those who won’t). Because the truth is, we already hold the key to solving our mental and physical health crisis in the palm of our hand.

"Play With Thyself" is part memoir, part guidebook—a blueprint for reclaiming your world by unlocking your inner child. Play isn’t just a pastime; it’s a way of life, a force of nature, and possibly the most radical act of self-care in a world drowning in stress, isolation, and burnout.

Humanity is at a breaking point. Depression is skyrocketing. Disconnection is the norm.

But the cure? It’s simple.

We need to remember how to Play With Ourselves.

Join the movement. Save yourself. Save the world.
Because rediscovering Play just might be the most important thing you ever do…
